Review # 3: Cats
A few days ago I saw Cats on Broadway (2017) so here my thoughts about this famous show.
Plot: To be honest Cats really has no plot. It's mostly about a group of cats called The Jellicle Cats. These cats come out every 100 years to see which cat gets to be reborn. The rest of the show is just songs about you getting to know each cat and their personalities. I didn't really care about the plot as much because I knew there was no plot. But it is still good with no plot.
Characters: Ok I'm not going to name all the cats in the show but they are all pretty great. Mr. Mistoffelees was super cool and magical. Rum Tum Tugger was fun and rock star-ish. and Grizabella was perfect singing her song Memory. All the characters had a loveable side to them and they are all great.
Songs: The songs were amazing. They got you dancing in your seat. They were fun and it just made you happy. In one of the songs, you couldn't help but clap for this song. They were all perfect and they did a great job on them.
Sets: Ok the sets were probably the best thing in the show. The lights were amazing they were mostly the best part of the show! It really had the feeling that you are in a real junkyard. It was perfect and they did such a great job with the sets.
In the end,Cats was great. This show was could be for anyone and not just for people who like cats. This show really had the Disney feel so if you want to see a show that is like one of Disney's shows go see this show. Sadly the show isn't on anymore but you can catch Cats on tour!
